About Me

English is not my first language! So please be gentle 😄
If you want, we can talk in Spanish (please) or French!

Hello! My name is Diego Fidalgo, from Spain

I’m an offensive security professional specialized in adversary simulation. I enjoy digging into attacker mindsets, stress-testing security controls, and finding creative ways to break things (always making it more complicated than it needs to be, honestly).

My work is a mix of curiosity and discipline: keeping up with the latest technologies, techniques, and everything else moving in this field, and actively researching new tools, methods, and tradecraft in offensive security.

To me, red teaming isn’t just about attacking and popping systems. It’s about understanding how attackers and defenders think, adapt, and improve, and using that to actually make things more secure. I also like sharing what I learn along the way and helping others understand not just how to strengthen security, but why it matters.

A quick note on this blog: the notes, the testing, the actual hacking, all of that is me. But I do lean on LLMs to help polish the writeups and tighten the wording, so I can put out something solid without burning a whole week per post. A very opinionated editor, not a ghostwriter.
